Family Matters

For several years now, we have taken our own family pictures. Sometimes they turn out better than others, but I think this will be one of our "better" years.
My Silly "bugs"... she LOVED swinging on the hammock!

A few rare pictures of my husband and I. In case you are wondering, I am still the photographer. I had a "little helper"... a little thing I like to call a remote. It's the best tool I've ever purchased...Nikon ROCKS!!

The Magic of Disney

This year for my daughters birthday celebration we took her to the Wonderful World of Disney. Do you remember what it was like when you were a kid seeing "magic" happen right before your eyes. We started taking Katy to Disney when she was not even talking, but she's always had something to say...this time she was speachless (a unique situation for my Katy). When it was her turn to see the Faries, she didn't know what to say, she was awe-struck. We did get some good pictures (and autographs too).
In the words of my nine year old..."that was AWESOME"!
These three pictures depict the Magic and Wonder that is Disney. There is ALWAYS something for the eyes to see and since I see things through my lense, this is what we end up with! What a great celebration we had!

Sweet Ladies

Here are a few snap shots from my last shoot. These ladies are three of the sweetest little girls. The oldest is one of my daughters oldest friends. I can remember when they were all about sippy cups, diapers and pacifiers. Time sure does fly by!

Jingle Bells...

Christmas pix with friends is always fun! For this shoot we headed to the park and the kids REALLY wanted to play. Their interest in taking pictures was lost once we saw the swings and slides! All kidding aside, these are some of the pictures from my shoot with my Best Friends kiddos.

The Hat with the Bling!

What a fun shoot this was!  A while back I took some pictures of my Katy with this adorable hat.  Soon after I posted the pictures one of my co-workers said her daughter loved the "Hat with the Bling".  So here is another beautiful young lady sporting the "Hat with the Bling".  She had so much fun with the hat and you can see it all over her face!

Christmas is in the air...

I can hardly believe I am taking Christmas pictures again. Here are just a few shots of my baby girl. I will have family pictures to post, but wanted a few individual pictures of her this year. Enjoy!

Favorites

This past August, we got to take a vacation...yes, a real vacation. As a child, my husband visited the Outter Banks of North Carolina just about every summer. So, this year we decided to take a trip up there ourselves. We pitched a tent and roughed it for a week! It was fun, but the best part was that I got to visit 4 out of 5 Lighthouses on the Outter Banks. Here are a few of my favorite photos of the Lighthouses.

Invested

In the recent weeks I have dedicated myself to be "invested" in everything I do. To take pride in the little things and remember that each day is a gift not a "right". One of my biggest investments is my beautiful daughter...On our way home from school we stopped at the park, just because and this is what came of that adventure!
