Isn't technology great!!  I have added a little something new to my blog.  The button is located at the bottom of the blog and it allows you to sign up for emails which will include my blog posts.  To find it, just scroll all the way down and look on the right.  Add your email address, then you will get a confirmation email.  Just click on the link in that email and you are confirmed.  I would love for you to follow me and what YDP is up to.  I will be posting more now that school is back in session!

Here's hoping you all have a great day!!

Trying some new things...

Ok folks, its time to get blogging again.  I hope you will check with me often to see what I am up to.  Right now I am basically starting over with my photography business.  Since I've moved, I am having to find new clients, until then I am taking the opportunity to photograph my new surroundings.  I am really enjoying it and look forward to each drive.  Each time I leave the house, I find something new.  It's so exciting.  If you'd like to join me in my adventures, zip me and email and I'll add you to my list!!  I will be posting some of my Southern Maryland photo's here soon!  Keep a lookout for more new things!!

We are family...

So, its been a while since I've blogged, but I am back and really excited about getting to post some of my recent projects.

I'll start with my New Years Day shoot...

This Christmas I had the opportunity to go home for a nice long visit.  I have always wanted to do photo's of my family especially, my parents.  I was so happy they asked me to have a session.  I know they wanted them for themselves, but I had a hidden agenda...I wanted them for me!!  So, not only did I get lucky with my parents, but I got to take pictures of my brothers and their families as well.  I have two of the most handsome nephews around and they were so "cool" in front of my camera!!  I will treasure these photos and the memories of this shoot forever.   There are only two things that could have made this day better is...it could have been MUCH warmer and I wished dearly that my husband could have been with us for these photos.  He is serving our country over seas right now and we miss him dearly.

Here are a few of my favorite images from our New Year's Day session...Enjoy!!

If only we could bottle it up...

Yesterday was an exciting day for me.  I did something I've never attempted...I had TWO sittings in ONE day.  My first session was with a family with a new addition...Baby "F" is so cute and cuddly I just want to wrap him up and snuggle.  You can see that MOM and DAD are as proud as can be.  Below are some of the images I was able to capture...

The best part...

Last week I had the pleasure of capturing this family on {digital} film.  Our first appointment was foiled by the time change...with the sun going down quicker, my "ideal" lighting was gone much earlier than planned.  We came out to the same spot a couple days later and here are a few of the images I was able to capture.  This family is SO full of love and you can see it in their faces...{oh and the kiddos...tons of energy...wish I could have bottled it!}

Smiles ALL around...

Oh my my...this little guy was such a joy to photograph!  When we got to the park, he was ALL smiles and he made my job so easy.  Here are just a few of the photo's I captured with "Mr. Cooper"

Baby Noah

Here are a few favorites from a newborn photo shoot.
This little man really didn't want to sleep, but we managed to wear him out just enough to get a few sleeping shots.
